Description
Tinctures and extracts are concentrated plant extracts made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves, or roots in alcohol or vinegar, glycerin, water, or other medium. All plants react differently to specific mediums, have an optimal time of the year to extract, and specific plant parts that are most effective for internal and topical use. This class is the how-to with hands-on using dried plant material if fresh is unavailable. A liniment is then made from the extracts. Let’s play!!
